Adventure in the Canadian wilderness is a given with an Elkhound. There are literally only a handful of breeds extremely well suited to the Canadian back country and the high country snow zones. Seb and Carsen are up in the high altitudes all the time with their big male, Loki.

Loki is a stud dog at Kamia Kennels and Seb and Carsen have him and give him and incredible life. Every now and then we will plan to utilize the great genetics this magnificent male has and plan a litter.

Kamia Kennels is a preservation breeder so we love it having the ability to be kept in stunning photos of how these amazing genetics are working out with the owners and handlers like Seb and Carsen.

This active couple loves this dog to no end, he does the same back and they get out on some incredible adventures. Norwegian Elkhounds like this big fella are the ultimate companion for adventure. Snow is the preferred medium for Elkhounds of course, but they thrive in all conditions.
