Zach came by with his Norwegian Elkhound male, Gustaf on his way North to Alaska. Gustaf is a pup from Karu and Letta. He is about 4 years old. Zach and Gustaf have spent the winter hiking and doing adventures in Utah and New Mexico and traveling now up through Canada with various stops and hikes along the way.

Zach is an adventure climber, mountain gear tester and all around rugged outdoorsman and needs a great Elkhound to accompany him through the rugged terrain. Gustaf is the perfect companion for such a wild lifestyle.
Gustaf is from a long line of the very best Norwegian Elkhounds and one of those famous dogs I have in the photo, Kai, the grandmother to Gustaf. She came by to say hello to her Grandson.
Gustaf and Zach have a great life, they are mobile for the winter and do a ton of climbing, hiking, and outdoor adventures, so well suited to an agile and powerful dog like Gustaf.
You can see the development and compact size of Gustaf, so European in his manners and conformation. Truly an outstanding Norwegian Elkhound.
