The world famous Pretty Boy Leif has been training his own pups for a lot of years now in the Desna training program. The photo above is Leif training his two Rock Star sons, Denali and Loki. They are from the litter of Kai and Leif.

We are doing some high elevation work, remote terrain off leash Desna training and I am using Leif as a mentor dog. Normally I would be using MANE but I had Leif out on this day as I was just up the mountain yesterday with MANE and two other pups from that Leif litter.
Here is a really cool thing, Leif is going to be soon training his own pups one more time as he currently has a litter on the ground from Rita. Go figure this, the photo above shows him training half brothers to Rita, as Kai is Rita’s mother.
After that litter with Leif, I mated Kai to Karu next time around. She had an awesome litter and we kept back a female which as you can guess was Rita. Now, years later, Leif has sired the litter with Rita and will be training his daughters. 4 Daughters is what Rita has.
Neat thing about this and actually totally incredible at the same time is that Leif’s daughter, Vaeda, she has a litter in the pen next to Rita. So Leif will be training his own daughter and his grandaughter at the exact same time soon. You can’t make this up!
