When you go to look for a pup it’s a great idea to look at the brothers of the stud for the litter. You’ll easily see if the genetics are consistent from brother to brother. If you find example after example of incredible quality, features and conformation it’s a very good sign your pup will have these same qualities.

Nanook, and incredible Norwegian Elkhound Brother to Teeko
In preservation breeding here at Kamia Kennels each time we plan out litters we think along the lines of past litters, genetics that we have to use, what makes our genetic plan sound and analyzing the brothers gives us a great insight.
The upcoming litter with Teeko is a very good example for folks to take and utilize the technique of looking at brothers of the stud.
I have raised so many quality brothers of his it’s crazy, probably the most recognizable set of brothers of Norwegian Elkhounds in North America, many of course well known worldwide.
I will feature just a few, his brothers MANE and Jaegar of course are so well known and have sired many incredible pups themselves. As you all know Dagr is a masterpiece male, he as well has incredible offspring.
Vitnir is a powerful solid big fella, incredible conformation and physical and personality traits that rival any male any where. We will still try to get a litter organized for Vitnir.
Then there is the stud Loki, another incredible brother who has left some very powerful offspring in our breeding program.
I’ll put a photo of Kronos, we do not plan to use Kronos at this time, but he is an example of excellence in every way.
There are many more, over the next while I’ll try to get updates on more of these brothers. I also have a great photo of Loki-Bear, a very large powerful male. These are old world boys, thick, strong and powerful.
Teeko will be having pups just like these rascals. Nanook is also going to be featured here, talk about a phenomenal Norwegian Elkhound. All of these brothers are profound.
