Some lineages are just flat out better hiking lines than others. Kamia Kennels happens to have the Elite of hiking bloodlines as you all know. Now none are better than this combination of genetics I am about share with you today.
Off Leash Elkhound Adventure
Today I have Kai shown with her son Torq and her daughter Letta. Torq and Letta are from the mating of Kai and Pretty Boy Leif. Phenomenal genetics to work with in remote terrain. Off leash requires handler focus and the ability to stay near the handler and watch the trails. This particular genetic is extremely good at this.
Rita, the sister to Torq and Letta, but her father was Karu. We had kept Rita back from the mating of Kai and Karu. Then, as you know now we mated Rita to Pretty Boy Leif and we literally have this same genetic back again, just the reverse.
The four Norwegian Elkhound females from Rita are going to be incredible. I believe Michael is going to be doing the Desna training program with at least two of the females and this is going to be the extended version so they will be 6 months old at completion, Total Rock Stars!
If you are holding out for a great female hiking companion, please contact us right away and Michael will work to get the one remaining female placed with you. We also have Vaeda pups we can discuss.
Now, neat thing is, Teeko is about to be hooking up with Karia, who also is a Karu daughter. Teeko shares almost all the blood of Kai so the hike ability of that litter is going to be crazy good too.
Check out all the pups and big dogs Michael has on his Sunday Saunter Video: Hiking With Elkhounds
Enjoy the photos of Kai with Torq and Letta.
