Michael and I were talking yesterday and we feel we are soon ready to launch our new training series. We have not worked out all the details but I can tell you it’s going to be awesome. It will include a lot of the great work Michael is doing up there at his location and will include some of the work I am doing.
Kaleva Pups Ready To Hunt and Train
These are the Kaleva pups all fired up to train in the high country at 5 weeks of age. Running excitement and instincts these are incredible rascals!
We have decided to incorporate a video element, articles and some live feeds. He has been exploring the live feed options on hikes already and it’s extremely well accepted and people love the format.
He has been doing some in focus action videos already as well featuring many of our great pups, but one in particular is our new stud Norwegian Elkhound Kano this is a short video to showcase the style I mentioned.
Kano will be featured a fair bit as we can showcase the development of him throughout his life, he will be staying with Michael the entire time.
These feature training and integration videos, short clips about instincts, environmental and development aspects will be enhanced and improved, this is a good example of some of the work Michael and I have already begun: “Building A Bond With Your New Pup“.
We also will be featuring more long live stream version and Michael has a few already done that you can watch if you missed the livestream: Hiking With Elkhounds – Sunny Morning in the Woods.
It will require a great deal of time and energy to make the production series, add the elements and produce the final results, but I have to say, Michael and Sarah are committed to the success of the venture and they have tremendous skill in the raising, training and development of the dogs, but also the video quality, filmography and editing and more.
His ability to take the series and create the segments is amazing and we are excited about expanding on our initial testing and work, here is another segment to showcase a short clip: Elkhound Insights
We will try to tie our work into real working examples and share with you incredible dogs that have came through our program and give you some prime examples of excellence.
\This is of course a highlight for us to feature, Tosha has a phenomenal pair of Jamthunds up in Alaska. Here is a video of her and Helix and Chief out for a great hike in Alaskan Summer wilderness.
Another will be sharing articles and photo rich uploads and feedback from our folks with our amazing bloodlines, this is an incredible display of World Class Elkhounds.
